COVID-19 Stoneleigh Vaccination Centre Posted or Updated on 2 Mar 2021

We are aware of social media reporting that vaccines are going to waste at the Stoneleigh vaccination centre. This is incorrect. We would like to assure local people that all available vaccines are being used.

The centre is fully booked and we expect this to continue, as more eligible people are asked to book their appointments. This includes:

  *   Carers in receipt of carers allowance

  *   Those who are formally shielding and have received an invitation letter

  *   And anyone aged between 60 and 64.

No one should attend the site without an appointment and only those in the activated priority groups should book an appointment at Stoneleigh. Anyone who attends without an appointment or is not in the appropriate cohort will be asked to leave and will not be vaccinated.
