Feet
Footwear fitting is offered by the podiatry service, to accurately measure your feet and offer advice, so you can buy appropriate shoes for yourself. You don’t need to see your GP but can self-refer by calling 01926 600818 or emailing podiatryreferrals@swft.nhs.uk
Muscle and joint problems
First-Contact Musculoskeletal Service is available on Fridays at the surgery. The service is provided by a diagnostic physiotherapist who can give joint injections, refer for x-rays, scans and hospital appointments, so you don’t need to see a GP first. Book by phoning the surgery.
Physiotherapy
If you already have a good idea what is wrong with you, you can self-refer to physiotherapy. You don’t need to see a GP first, visit www.swft.nhs.uk/our-services/adults-out-hospital-services/physiotherapy
Frailty
If you are frail, lacking energy or struggling to live with arthritis you can get help from the Occupational Therapy team. You don’t need to see a GP, just call reception to book an appointment.
