Feet

Footwear fitting is offered by the podiatry service, to accurately measure your feet and offer advice, so you can buy appropriate shoes for yourself. You don’t need to see your GP but can self-refer by calling 01926 600818 or emailing podiatryreferrals@swft.nhs.uk

Muscle and joint problems

First-Contact Musculoskeletal Service is available on Fridays at the surgery. The service is provided by a diagnostic physiotherapist who can give joint injections, refer for x-rays, scans and hospital appointments, so you don’t need to see a GP first. Book by phoning the surgery.

Frailty

If you are frail, lacking energy or struggling to live with arthritis you can get help from the Occupational Therapy team. You don’t need to see a GP, just call reception to book an appointment.

Mobility problems, home aids and avoiding falls

For support with avoiding falls, assessment of your mobility at home due to being housebound, or prescription of urgent equipment, you - or someone you ask to act on your behalf - can call the Home First Therapy team on 01926 600 818 (8.00am to 8.00pm, 7 days a week).
